Late Shree Kantilalji Chordia started Jain Jagruti on 15 August, 1969 from Pune. He was professor at college and was pursuing PhD in literature. Shree Kantilalji had a vision to start Jain Jagruti in order to promote social, cultural, religious and educational values among people. He lead Jain Jagruti team from 1969 to 1999.
Shree Kantilalji was felicitated with excellence award by various organisations in Pune and Maharashtra.
Mr Sanjay Chordia after completing his Masters in Marathi from Fergusson college, Pune joined Jain Jagruti. He is responsible for entire transformation and revolutionism of Jain Jagruti after 2000. Under his leadership Jain Jagruti has achieved excellent quality printing and very good compilation of articles and news. He keeps on innovating through various new features in Jain Jagruti.
Mr Sanjay does lot of social work at various Jain organisations and trusts. He is on board of Shree Kshtrepal Pratishthan, Jain Yuvak Maha sangh; Arihant Jagruti Manch, Ruturaj Jain Committee. etc
Mrs Sunanda Sanjay Chordia is lead editor of Jain Jagruti. She works hard to ensure that magazine is free of any syntaxtical/grammatical/semantic errors and helps in improving reading experience of Jain Jagruti. Along with being housewife she manages work of Jain Jagruti efficiently.
Mrs Sunanda is effective orator and has been invited at many functions to deliver speech. She was invited by Akashvani to give a talk on Mahavir Jayanti, Paryushan. She was head of Akhil Bhartiya Jain conference, Pancham zone. Currently she is head of Gautam Labdi Foundation, Ruturaj Center.
Mr Sagar is technical head of Jain Jagruti website & magazine. He is engineering director at Instagram(Meta), California, USA.
He graduated from Stanford University, USA and IIT Bombay
